Meditation is a self-practice with the objective of mental clarity, calmness, and increased focus. The most common meditation form is to sit relaxed and focus on your breathing with complete silence. There are many other forms but it is the most common one and if you are a beginner, it is the most effective form for you.

The benefit of that will be you will not be bored out and frustrated with this routine because nowadays social media has decreased our attention span and mediation requires attention. Therefore, start with a lower time limit.

3. Relax your body:

After finding a comfortable place, the next step is to enter the relaxing zone. You can sit on the floor with a mat, a chair, or anything comfortable to you and start by keeping your back straight and relaxing your body. After that close your eyes and move on to the next step.


4. Focus on your breath:

After closing your eyes, take 3-4 deep breaths and let the breath come to a normal pace. After that, let your mind focus on your breathing and your thoughts, and let your thoughts come without judging them. In this process, it is normal for thoughts to come. You just have to let them come and focus on your breathing.


5. Ending method:

After your time limit is reached, gently open your eyes and think about your experience like how you felt, and how is your brain reacting to your new practice, and write down your thoughts.

  • Be consistent: To let the benefits come you must do meditation consistently and try to do it at the same time every day. Morning time is preferred but it is your choice.


  • Be Patient: There is no doubt that you will feel frustrated at the beginning because it is normal to feel that way when you are developing a new habit. The important thing is to keep going with patience.


  • Find your suitable method: Everyone has their own taste. Some people like meditating alone, while others do it in groups. The important thing is that you find a method in which you feel comfortable and relaxed to get the most out of it.
